Families come to me for a variety of reasons. Many of my students attend large high schools with limited college advising services. By working with me, they are able to get personalized guidance and support tailored to their unique interests and needs.
I can also help reduce family stress, keep track of deadlines, and offer up to date information regarding testing policies, new majors, and other changes in the admissions landscape.

I love working with students at all stages of their high school journey. If we start working together in 9th or 10th grade, I can offer timely guidance on course planning, extracurricular activities, and testing strategies which can help you chart your path with intentionality.
If we connect towards the end of high school, or when you are a senior, we’ll jump right to the application process. I’ll help ensure you apply to a balanced list of schools that match your interests and needs, and we’ll work together to ensure your applications reflect everything that is special and amazing about YOU.

If you hope to earn your degree in Canada, the UK, Europe, or elsewhere in the world, it’s best for us to connect by the end of 9th grade. Some countries, like the Netherlands, require a certain number of passing AP scores or an IB diploma to qualify for admission to a research university. This means that selecting the right high school courses and exams will give you more options, and early guidance in this process can ensure that you are set up for success when you get to senior year.
That said, regardless of when we connect, I can work with you to find options that you qualify for, and that align with your interests and goals.

A gap year can be a wonderful opportunity!
It often makes sense to apply to college as a high school senior and defer your admission during your gap year. We can work together to figure out the right approach for your specific situation.
